You are always being pulled towards outer space!

It turns out that there is a force that is always pulling you away from the Earth's axis of rotation and it is called the centrifugal force. Because the Earth is a rotating object, it is known as a non-inertial body, and as a result, there are additional non-inertial forces acting on objects on the Earth. Don't worry though, the centrifugal force is quite weak compared to the ever-present gravitational force of the Earth...but it is still there at all times, trying to pull you off the ground!
